Get involved:
Before your child enters the classroom, their education has already begun. As a parent you play a major role in your child's education. By asking your child about their day, volunteering around the school, showing an interest in their activities and programs, you are showing your child how much you value their education. I encourage parents, grandparents, and guardians to find the time to stay involved. Please use the calendar below to sign up for a time slot to visit our classroom and read to our class.

In our Pre-k classroom we talk about not stealing. All too often adults are stealing from the internet without even realizing. Copyright laws are laws that allow individuals who create different works rights to their creations. The fact that something is found on the internet does not give individuals the right to “steal” it. A creative common license allows the creators of the different works to allow others to use their creations but with limitations of their choosing. These laws are not exactly the same as when used in a classroom. This is considered “fair use” of the materials. Teachers can use works that may be copyrighted due to the principle that teaching is for “greater good”. The websites below are worth visiting for a better understanding of these topics.
